An Introduction to Camphill
We are a not-for-profit organization that provides support services to adults and seniors in Simcoe County who have an intellectual disability. We support people in directing their own lives and in promoting partnerships, opportunities, well-being, freedom and contributions in their community.
The Camphill Store
Located at 111 Dunlop Street East in Barrie, The Camphill Store opened December 1, 2015 as a central spot to showcase and sell products made by Camphill residents, day-program participants, and friends of Camphill, alongside artists and crafts people from the Barrie area.
The store also includes dried herbs and herbal products from the herbery, and a variety of cards. L'Arche, a similar organization out of Richmond Hill, also has a variety of items for sale in the store — candles, pottery and cards — that have been made in their studio.

I had such a great time at the Comedy & Concert Benefit, at the Ferndale Banquet Hall, in Barrie, Ontario, Canada!! I sold a bunch of artcards and had my framed prints available for sale. - April 29, 18

I had so much fun at the Walk A Mile in Her Shoes ‘Pump’ Up Event at Georgian Mall, on Thursday Aug 09, 18, 9:00am-9:30pm. I sold a lot of artcards, and did some fun drawing demonstrations. I also had my prints and originals for sale. - Aug, 09, 18

I had a really great time at the “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” event. I had lots of fun volunteering. I also sold some artcards, and did several fall leaf drawing demonstrations. The event was very well attended, and they raised over $40,000. Thanks everyone, for all of your great support!! - Sept 15, 2018

I had a really fun time at the Collier Place Craft Sale. I sold some artcards, and did a bunch of drawing demonstrations, and a few pastel paintings. The event was very well attended. The Collier Place Craft Sale raised over $400.00 for Hospice Simcoe.

I recently sold some more of my artcards at the Camphill Store in Barrie. I just paid them a little visit, and restocked my artcards. A very warm thanks to everyone who has recently purchased my artcards at the Camphill Store in Barrie. I’m so very grateful for the sales and honoured to be an artistic friend of Camphill. The Camphill Store is a wonderful place to visit for gift items, all year round. Why not drop in to see all of the fabulous things that they have in their store.

I had a really fun time at the Loblaw’s Grocery Store 'Wrapped in Courage' for the Women & Children's Shelter of Barrie event. I sold over $200.00 in artcards and jewellery. We also sold 10 scarves and got a lot of donations. I’m feeling so grateful!! - Nov 22, 2018
I launched my jewellery line ”Carolyn’s Charms” on Nov 21st, and I’m happy to announce that I’ve already sold out of several of my jewellery designs. I usually make 2 or 3 of each design, with a unique genuine gemstone on each piece. I’ll be making more soon, so stay tuned. A huge thanks to everyone who made a purchase. - Nov 24, 2018
I had so much fun at Loblaws Bayfield, in Barrie, with Lorraine, today. Susan helped out, as well. We sold several scarves for the Women & Children's Shelter of Barrie "Wrapped in Courage" campaign, and collected a lot of donations. I also sold 9 jewellery pieces and over a dozen artcards. A huge thanks to the assistant manager Heather and all of the Loblaws staff for being so gracious and accommodating. I’m tremendously grateful.

I had such a great day. I sold 6 ”Wrapped in Courage” purple pashmina scarves, 22 artcards and 16 pieces of jewellery.
